| Why Digital Art? |
| I am often asked, "Why do you use a computer to paint? It's not real art unless you use real paint and brushes." My response is using the computer to paint is just a different media. To me, it is no different than using oils, acrylics or watercolors. In fact, many of the digital techniques I use are very similar to traditional painting techniques. Using digital media gives me the freedom to explore new techniques and concepts faster than using traditional media. Plus the flexibility of digital media better fits my busy schedule. In the end, it is only your opinion that matters. I hope you enjoy my work. Jeff Montgomery |
